Physics teaching via dialogic discussions about circus activities

Circus art excites amazes and delights. Most of circus genres are based on the principles classical physics. Dialogic discussions known as an instrument to identify conceptual barriers (misconceptions) facilitate their further revision. The present study integrates three worlds: physics education, dialogic teaching art; provides a research foundation for experiential through about tricks (DDCT) in formal informal setups. It aims at examining potential DDCT tool identifying misconceptions facilitating change regarding concepts. encircles 40 provided Israeli KESHET circus. In total, 5,500 people watched shows. From them, 400 actively participated DDCT. We analyze details four typical relating (a) circular motion, (b) moment inertia, (c) torque, (d) heat transfer.
